A typical WaterFurnace system consists of a geothermal system (box) placed inside a building, which is attached to a series of pipes filled with water/ethanol solution buried in the ground outside the building. The Solution absorbs the suns heat from the ground and the WaterFurnace Geothermal Heat Pump System will extract the heat from the solution, compresses it, and then distributes the heat throughout the structure.

It can reverse this action to provide all the cooling a structure would require as well. It will take the heat from the structure and transfer it into the fluid in the Geo-Loop and then the heat is transferred into the ground.
